ACTION
Description:
Stabi-Foam is a combined strong detergent and wide spectrum disinfectant suited to
applications in agriculture, aquaculture and food processing operations.
Excessive organic debris and dirt must be removed prior to the application of
disinfectants in order to maximise the sanitising effect. Its surfactant
properties ensure in depth action. It simultaneously cleans, deodorises and
disinfects.
The biological
composition of Stabi-Foam is based on the combination of pressed olive
biomass with non-ionic and anionic surfactant compounds of quaternary ammonium
and alcohol. It contains aromatic and miscellaneous synergistic agents.

Characteristics:
Light purple coloured liquid with a
distinctive pleasant odour, of either neutral or alkaline pH subsequent to
dilution, according to the intended use.
Indications:
When diluted in water, at the rate
of 0.5% to 1%, it can be safely applied for any washing purpose. Stabi-Foam
is active against Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria, such as: Staphylococcus
spp., Streptococcus spp., Listeria spp., Salmonella spp., Escherichia spp., Pseudomonas
spp., Vibrio spp., Flexibacter spp., Aeromonas spp., Yersinia spp., Pasteurella
spp., etc., as well as fungi, such as: Aspergillus spp., Cladosporium
spp., etc. and viruses, such as: VHSV, IPNV, Rotavirus, Coronavirus,
etc.
Applications:
Detergent with combined strong
disinfecting action, especially in the presence of plentiful organic load.
Recommended for washing (brushing, sponging) floors, basins, surfaces and
equipment in livestock and aquaculture production facilities as well as food
processing and packing plants. In general, it is suitable for cleaning and
disinfecting environments with excessive dirt.
It is used
subsequent to dilution with fresh or sea water as follows:
1% (1:100 or10lt./m3 or 10ml/lt.) up
to 0.5% (1:200 or 5lt./m3 or 5ml/lt.).
Advantages:
Stabi-Foam is not affected by water
hardness, is non-corrosive to metals, does not influence fabrics and is
non-toxic to fish, livestock or humans. Unlike chlorine based products, it is
stable and is not oxidised when in contact with air. It has strong deodorising
properties and does not irritate the skin.
Bio-degradable product. Safe and
friendly for the environment.
Precautions
(for the operators):
At the recommended concentrations Stabi-Foam
is harmless. It is not caustic or irritant for the skin, eyes or mucous
membranes. Nevertheless, reasonable care should be taken when handling the
undiluted alkaline product, e.g. by wearing gloves. When the dense product
comes into direct contact with the skin or eyes, rinse with plenty of water for
a few minutes.
Keep away from children.
Storage
and packing:
Available in 5lt. and 10lt. plastic
containers. It may be kept in storage for up to 36 months post the date of
manufacture, in a dark and cool environment.
Close containers firmly after use.
